On August 31st, Sjef Brands completed his two-month Summer internship at Summum Engineering, and will be returning to his studies at Eindhoven University of Technology. He spent his time with us honing his skills in parametric engineering and scripting, working on parametric engineering models for a variety of structures and materials, such as a steel geodesic dome and a 3D printed, recycled plastic, street bench.
We hope he had an educational and productive time, and we highly recommend him! Sjef is a quick study, easily picking up new skills and absorbing new information. He’s an excellent parametric modeller and has good working knowledge on a variety of structural engineering topics. He’s not afraid to speak up, yet mild-mannered and pleasant to work with.
